Does man really understand the
value of what is around him? The sunrise and the sunset, the moon and the
stars, the soft and gentle breeze, the rustling of dry leaves, the mellow tone
of the bird, the docile nature of the herd. There is so much life around us
alas we fail to take notice.
Our lives have become much
occupied today, meeting expectations, keeping up with deadlines, catering to
hobbies. Most of us are constantly making
plans to making plans and fail to live. 'To live is the rarest thing in the
world most people exist that is all'.
Our chaotic lives demand that we take breaks. A break doesn’t necessarily mean a flamboyant
vacation, it could be taking a long walk down the boulevard or sitting by the
shore and observing the sun sink in. 'It is the simple things in life that are
most extraordinary only wise men understand them'. Sit back and observe your
surrounding it is teeming with life, take inspiration from the water that ripples,
the flower that blooms, the fire that fumes. Introspect and dream on- the very
possibility of a dream coming true makes life interesting and remember 'the time
that you enjoy wasting was not wasted'.
As John Lennon quoted life is what happens to you when you are busy
making other plans live up one life that you’ve got.
Travel extensively, meet and
greet people it helps you develop and shapes you into a better individual. 'Travel is fatal to bigotry and prejudice. A broad-minded view of men and things
cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the world. All you touch
and all you see will all your life ever be'. Life would be boring without failures and challenges, only the river
that hurdles down the mountain battling its way through the rocks produces
electricity. Be prepared to take up challenges, stay optimistic. 'Twenty years
from now you would be more disappointed about the things that you didn’t do
than the ones that you did, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe
harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails, explore, dream, discover'.
